Hanford Commute Times
Canyon Lakes is a great community with a fantastic golf course. The commute times for the Hanford Site are not too bad. If you take I-84 past Ridge at Reata West, and down into Richland, you will save a significant amount of time over the 395 route through the heart of Kennewick and along the river, paralleling the Sacagawea Heritage Trail. Using the I-84 route, your commute will be around 37-45 minutes to the Hanford gate, using 395, you can add about 20 minutes.
Now, Canyon Lakes isn't the shortest drive from a golf community to the Hanford site. If being close to the site is almost as important as a low handicap, then Horn Rapids is your best bet. Even Meadow Springs is a bit shorter commute. Canyon Lakes is about the furthest golf community from the Hanford Site.
